We can Fit Your Finger Size

At $mart-Finger we wanted to determine how best to build styluses for the different sizes for fingers for the population.  Four our three types of finger-mounted stylus we needed to get an idea of the width (diameter or radius) of the finger where you would wear a ring, the width of the top joint of the index finger and the width of the top joint of the thumb.  Each type of stylus provides some flexibility to stretch to fit slight bigger fingers.

The results are below.  The circumference at each position on the finger was measured and the radius computed.  This computed radius was then used to determine the size of the large, medium and small styluses for each type.

This should suit most fingers.  If you have a special need for a stylus you can comment on this post or email us by using the contact information in the right margin.

The Ring Stylus

The ring stylus developed by $mart-Finger is the most sophisticated of its styluses.  The ring presents the capacitance of your finger to the touch-screen device through a conductive path from your finger to the screen.  This is for people who prefer the securely fitted ring the thimble or have trouble gripping a conventional stylus.

The Thumble

Many of us use are thumbs with iPhones and smart-phones.  $mart-Finger has developed a stylus that fits on the thumb which will improve accuracy and stop thumb prints appearing on the screen.  We call this the thumble.  It fits to the contours of your thumb and is flexible to fit to a number of thumb shapes.

The Long-Nail Thimble

The long-nail thimble is not just good for people with long nails.  It has accurate pointer for precising interactions with your phone or tablet.  It has comfortable tab which will just to different sized fingers.

You have long finger nails or just want the improved accuracy that this thimble gives you.  If you are in the practice of eating and texting use this thimble to stop your screen getting smudged.
